Verses 14 - 19

Verse 14 - If you are reviled (31) for the name of Christ, (32) you are blessed, (33) because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

V. 15 - Make sure that (34) none of you suffers as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a (35) troublesome meddler;

V. 16 - but if anyone suffers as a (36) Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to (37) glorify God in this name.

V. 17 - For it is time for judgment (38) to begin with (39) the household of God; and if it (40) begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those (41) who do not obey the (42) gospel of God?

V. 18 - (43) AND IF IT IS WITH DIFFICULTY THAT THE RIGHTEOUS IS SAVED, WHAT WILL BECOME OF THE (44) GODLESS MAN AND THE SINNER?

V. 19 - Therefore, those also who suffer according to (45) the will of God shall entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.
